Mike Lewis

Mike Lewis is a senior aerospace executive with more than 35 years of experience across aviation research, program leadership, business strategy and global technology services. His work has focused on advanced air traffic management system design, aviation safety, and the growth of complex, technology-driven OEM services businesses operating in highly regulated global environments. Mike has held senior leadership roles at Boeing and Jeppesen, and served as the technology staff lead for the 2002 Presidential Commission on the Future of the U.S. Aerospace Industry contributing to reports to the President and Congress on improving the nation’s air transportation system. Earlier in his career, he held researcher throughout Senior Executive Service roles at NASA, and was the founding Director of the Aviation Safety Program.  Mike brings a practitioner’s perspective on integrating technology, operations, and safety—helping boards and investors assess execution risk and the real-world scalability of aviation technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
